Coffee, humidity, bugs, reading, love, The Bible, A-mazing friends, oh yea Hawaii. Life is going so well :) This season of my life has been so good! No crazy major things have happened, but I have been doing well on my journey of knowing God more, to make him known. The Bible has been coming more and more alive to me and revelation has been falling hard core. God is so good, no matter what. He has been teaching me to keep my gaze on him, no matter my circumstances around me, cuz he remains the same. Oh Lord- so wonderful to me. This past we did a week of blessing someone from our class, really similar to secret santa. They didn't know who was giving them the gift, so we had to be secret about getting it to them. It was a great week! I had so much fun blessing my person. This coming week all of the students in our school are going on a faith journey around the Island for 4 days. From Tuesday morning to Friday morning. I will post details tomorrow when they tell us for sure what we are going to be doing. And my outreach team is in the process of making a video for all of our friends, family and supporters. We are going to be sharing our vision statement for outreach, so you all will get to see my team mates :) Last weekend me and the girls going on outreach with me went up to Waimea. A small town about an hour north and stayed with the amazing Hooley family for two days. It was an amazing time away, much needed fun and solitude with Jesus. I hope you all are enjoying the last bit of summer! Be so blessed!
Oh yea, feel free to send me any prayer requests ;) I love you guys!

Wow,
God is blowing my mind, day after day. Everyday is a new adventure with him! Adventures keep life more worth living, even if they seem to be really hard and horrible it is worth it to go through hard times, because afterwards you have grown in some area. This week in class we have a speaker who lives in Hollywood and does ministry there. Evangelism is what he is teaching on this week but he has such a chill and relax way of teaching that I feel like I get to listen to stories for 4 hours! All of his stories about evangelism that he has shared with us have turned out with one person or groups of people coming to know God. Radical evangelism, but not by following a formula or pattern but from his relationship with God and listening to God's voice. Towards the end of class he had us pray and ask God if there was any religiousity in our hearts, or control areas that would hinder God's love in our lives. After we sat and prayed God opened the heavens and his peace and love came and hit my heart in a deep place. Learning to rest in God, is one of the most enjoyable seasons in my opinion. If I would shut up, sit and listen to what God wants to tell me, then way less striving would be in my heart. Rest is so good and necessary! Well this afternoon I am going to go in the prayer room and study the word and read some of my books, I hope you all enjoy the rest of the day: August 10, 2010.
Be Blessed!
